Do not visit people at risk if you are sick yourself or have shown symptoms of illness in the past three days.
If you have symptoms that could indicate an infection, such as a runny nose, a cough, a sore throat, vomiting or diarrhoea, you may be contagious. The consequences of an infection are also more severe in elderly and other vulnerable people. If you cannot wait before visiting, you must follow these few pieces of advice: avoid physical contact, wash or sanitise your hands when entering the room and after coughing or sneezing. As such, you will prevent bacteria from spreading.
